Spuds U Like!

Been lovely in North Derbs this afto so set to and planted some spuds - Arran Pilot and Charlottes. The next lot can go in on Good Friday - Desiree, Picasso and Moulin Rouge

The windy weather of late has wreaked havoc wi my black plastic which got whipped from its moorings and sheared the tops off me garlic!!

I harvested the last of the leeks - and very spiffing they are too given that they were planted in concrete. Long live no-dig! Dug up a few sizeable celeriacs and my carrots and springs onions are fantastic. Notice all the old guys on the plots digging and rotovating but no crops to pick!!
