Not posted for a while ...

... as I haven't replaced my digital camera which has died on me. I hate not having it to record my triumphs and failures.

Oh well. What is there to report. No pumpkins or squash to speak of due to horrible cold, wet weather earlier in the year which meant I had to re-sow everything. I have a grand total of one buttnernut and three Crown Prince squashes. Last year I had so many I didn't know what to do with them all. The tomatoes got blight so was reduced to just two reliable (but dull) varieties and all those exotic ones were just composted. The spuds were fine in the end, and only a few blightey ones were burned. The onions, because of all the rain, were ruined and I now have none in store. The leeks have been fine though so every cloud an' all that

The biggest pain in the arse at the moment is mice. We're innundated with them. My shed is now the place to be apparently and the little shits have even eaten my favourite hat!

An even bigger pain in the bum is the council trying to flog our plots from under us so we're having to fight like mad to keep them away. So far it's 1-0 to us!
