I wish it would rain

Blimey! Sound like a right old git but I wish it would. No rain since I put me taters in. Cuh!
I'm not about to start watering em any time soon so maybe they're doomed. We'll see.

Had a good day at the plot yesterday. Glorious sunshine all day but a bit too hot and sticky for real plotting but I did manage to plant some Jerusalem artichokes cadged off a bloke a few plots up. Got a tray of calabrese off another so all in all a productive day. Forgot me camera again!

Planted savoy cabbages and broccoli 'Bordeaux'.

I'm feeling quite smug about my no-dig malarky cos it's working so I'm really glad I've stuck with it. I was reading a lady's no-dig blog the other day, looking for ideas, but she had her entire plot ploughed and rotovated first! Now that's cheating surely. Cuh!
